FIRE AND PASSION (7) backs up after he registered an effortless win at this circuit and distance on Tuesday, working to the front from this barrier before scoring by 11 metres. He can do that again. The recent form BARRACUDA NZ (4) has been hard to fault with a long string of top-two results to his name. Completed a winning hat trick when he led from wider and scored at his latest appearance here, getting home by 3.2 metres. Has the benefit of a good draw so could add to the winning streak. BITE THE EAR MIKE (5) was brave last time out, racing parked but sticking on to finish third at this circuit and distance. Respect along with BENNYDASOOK (2) who has been racing consistently from wider barriers and should enjoy the favours from the ace draw.
