Albion Park Race 7 - Id26 Ladbrokes Inter Dominion Trotting Championship Grand Final (Group 1 - Trotting Masters)

GUS NZ (2) looked to have a stranglehold on this series when winning his opening heat from this barrier but disappointed when fourth last week. He is much better than that and a step up in distance should suit considering how strong he was at the end when winning the Dominion Trot over 3200m in NZ last year. Should get the right run so can land the big prize. Last-year's winner ARCEE PHOENIX (11) has been dealt a blow with a second row draw but he is back in form at the right time, finishing 9m in front of Gus when winning last week. With luck he could go back to back. LOVEMETO NZ (8) broke in round one but kept his manners in check and atoned with a 4m win last week. Draws for a soft run and could be dangerous if the breaks go his way. Tough draw for JILLIBY DREAMLOVER (13) but has looked good in winning her last two here against her own age including the Great Square. ROCKINWITHATTITUDE (6) draws better than last week and was good in round one. Has a 50 per cent strike rate here. Each way.
