COOL AND CLASSY (3) took full advantage of the ace draw to lead and return to winning form at Redcliffe last week, cruising home by 15m. She owns a great strike rate here, winning 12 of 20 attempts, and she has the speed to go forward again from this draw. That could see her hard to catch. FERNCO NEL NZ (9) only beat a couple home in the Flashing Red last start but he has trialled well since and was flying prior, putting three wins together at this venue. May need luck from the second row but he'll enjoy the drop to a distance where he has recorded six wins and a placing from seven attempts. Danger. PATH TO GREATNESS (5) had to work in last week's Redcliffe Cup so wasn't disgraced in finishing midfield. Good effort for third in the Flashing Red prior and he is another with a good strike rate at this circuit and distance. RUBY RULES (2) has ground to make up on COOL AND CLASSY through last week's second but does draw inside that rival tonight.
