Turned in yet another strong performance last time when he led from wider and battled on for third. Deserves a win and could achieve it from this lower draw. QUICK SHAVE NZ (2) is a lightly raced newcomer to the Chantal Turpin yard from NZ. Has had three-and-a-half months since a fourth at Central Southland at just his second start but looks to be right up to the mark following a recent trial win. Draws well so could make an immediate impact. DUKE OF ARGYLL (1) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish second from a wider barrier at this circuit and distance.
