SPRUCED UP (7) is a two-year-old gelding by Lather Up from Love To Rock on debut. Has to contend with a very wide draw. Has strong trial form coming into this. Makes plenty of appeal. WATERFALL BAY (6) has been in the placings two times from as many runs this campaign. Registered yet another strong performance last time when he battled on bravely to just miss out over 1609m at Mt Harding, adding to a string of recent minor placings. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. HIP HOP HOORAY (8) is a two-year-old gelding from the Stephen Boyd yard on debut. Tactics will be crucial from this wide draw. Looks to have some ability based on a recent trial win. Makes plenty of appeal.
