ZIPPING GRANGER (1) was prominent early from the tricky draw and did a fair job to be beaten 2.25 lengths into third (30.19) at Richmond in a Grade 5 over 520m. Ran one of the fastest times on the program last start despite finishing in the minors. Leading player again. BETTY EMGRAND (3) was game in defeat off a low draw at the latest outing, finishing second and beaten 1.75 lengths (30.16) behind Blocked at Richmond. Although beaten ran one of the quickest times on the card last start. Expected to be in this for a long way. BLUE LINKIN (6) is worth some thought after placing last start.
