Towcester Bags Race 8 - Race 8

BENJAMIN BARCLAY (5) made light work of trap five with a scorching early sectional but gathered in and had to settle for the minors, finishing third (29.62) at this track over 500m. Has performed well from this box with a win and three minor placings to his name from five starts. Likely to feature again. RAILWAYCLUB BOB (2) has a strong record this trip with 10 wins and nine placings from 26 starts. Placed last time (29.79) at this track in an A4, finishing third and beaten a long neck. Can feature with the right run. FLICKERING BELLE (1) was game in defeat off a low draw at the latest outing, finishing second and beaten 1.3 lengths (29.41) behind Limerick Boy at this track. Must be included in calculations. BOSSY BULLET (4) is in the mix despite missing out at this track last time.

Finished fifth two starts ago then regained form last time out when he found a couple better over 500m in an A4 at this track. Can take this out on the back of that sound recent effort.

Sent out long odds last time but rocketed out of the boxes with a scorching early sectional and gave a sight before being swallowed up late, finishing a 3 length fifth (30.01) over 500m at this track. This will test.

Handy type with a solid strike-rate. Winner two back then well fancied last time and could manage only third over 500m at this track in 29.62. Rates highly on best form. Expected to feature.
