Comes through a solid form race last start. Will go close again if runs up to latest. SPRING MILES (1) rocketed out of the inside draw with a strong early sectional and gave a sight but had to settle for a placing, finishing third (34.66) at this track over 600m. Goes very well from this draw with seven wins and five minor placings from 16 starts. Expecting another good run. NIGEL DEVERE (3) was well fancied in betting last start but could only manage 1.3 lengths away in second (31.10). Although beaten ran one of the quickest times on the card last start. Hard to beat again. MEPUNGA DONNA (8) form at this distance reads well.
