MARRA LAD (1) made light work of the tricky draw with a fast early sectional but gathered in and had to settle for the minors, finishing third (17.69) at this track over 300m. Yet to win out of this box but has been in the placings three times from four starts. Overdue and expected to feature again. AL CAN DO (8) has a fair record and proved too strong last time to win by a nose at this track in a handy 17.68 beating Tap Out Gracie. Makes plenty of appeal on the back of that last-start win. TRALEE LUNA (7) returned a better run last time, finishing in the money (17.65) at this track behind TRALEE AIMEE in a Grade 4/5. Turned chasing the leaders but kept coming. Solid formlines coming through her last run. Expected to feature. TANGLES TIPPETT (6) found the frame here last start and looks a top-three hope again.
