Makes strong appeal on best. HOLDEN BALE (5) made light work of the tricky draw with a fast early sectional but gathered in and had to settle for the minors, finishing second (29.80) at this track over 515m. Expected to feature again. SUPER FREAKY (4) missed the frame two back but wound up strongly last time, finishing on late when second (30.24) in a Grade 5 at The Meadows. Expected to be in the finish again. PAW NIMBUS (2) can return to form after missing the top-three at this circuit last time out.
