VALENZUELA (1) put in a much better performance last start when in the placings at this track behind Ross The Boss (29.47) in a Special conditions G3. Chased the leaders and with a clean run can be prominent. Has performed well from this box with a win and five minor placings to his name from eight starts. Winning claims. AMRON DANCER (4) was strongly supported last start when a short priced favourite and duly saluted winning by 3.5 lengths at Warragul in a handy 25.47. Has a tricky draw to overcome but goes well at this distance. Recorded the quickest time on the card last start. Deserves serious consideration again. HOLDEN BALE (2) was sent out big odds last time but scored an upset win in a Grade 5 at The Meadows (30.21). Consistent performer from this draw with a win and three minor placings to his credit. Expecting another bold showing. LEKTRA BETA (8) missed the frame latest but ran a superb 29.79. One of the chances here.
