BLUE OPAL (1) has been in the minors the last two, the latest showing strong pace early but gathered in and finished a 2.75 lengths second over 401m this track in 22.92. Deserves serious consideration. WINSOME STORM (3) did a good job to finish third last time out over 520m at Wentworth Park (29.94) in a Grade 5, the second top-three finish on the trot. Expected to bounce back to best. SPRING CRUISER (5) is a talented dog who hit the ground running off the tricky draw and was never headed, winning (18.38) at this track in Grade 5 over 320m. Solid record here including two wins. Recorded one of the quickest times on the card in scoring last start. Makes plenty of appeal if runs up to latest. FLYING SEPOL (2) will be hard to beat with a drop in distance.
