Should bounce back. GUS THE GREAT (1) has some solid form under his belt and proved too strong last time to win by 3 lengths at Townsville in a handy 28.57 beating He's Peeking. Goes well out of this box with a win and two minor placings. Has definite claims. BALMAIN BOY (2) turned in a plain run last time when seventh at Capalaba over 366m behind Kachina Ripple (20.41) in a Grade 5. Good beginner aided by a nice draw. Better than last start and can bounce back. TUCKEROO ROAD (5) is worth including after a top-three finish in a tight contest most recently.
