DRINK VODKAS (4) finished well back at Gosford last time when a 11 length fifth (30.64) but recorded best time of the card when winning five back. Should be very hard to beat this time. CORLESS A SAILOR (8) missed the frame and was safely held latest finishing 8th at Dapto following on from a third place finish (17.47) there the start prior. Has never been out of the money in three starts this course and distance. Some good form is emerging from her last run. Deserves plenty of respect. BEST NAN (1) was a quick 19.73 winner of a Grade 5 at Gunnedah last start. Should be in this for a long way. EDI BALE (2) looks a chance coming off a five-and-a-half months layoff.
