Sure to prove hard to beat. BLACK SERIES (6) missed the frame and safely held latest finishing 6th at Bendigo following on from a win (25.49) at Shepparton the start prior. Comes out of a solid form race last start. Better than the latest run and deserves another chance. ASTON OPHELIA (7) showed good early burn and was there until turning but swamped late to finish 8th at Warragul in Grade 5 company. Has a very good strike-rate from this draw, with three wins from seven starts. Expected to feature in the finish. PEACOCK (4) is coming off a quick 23.94 success last time. Can measure up again.
