GAYLE BALE (1) showed good pace from out wide and was prominent early but began to paddle and faded out of it when 5th at Bendigo in Mix 3/4 company. Remains without a win from the draw but has been in the placings four times from five attempts. Has claims if she runs up to expectations. LEGGETT BALE (3) flew the lids off the inside draw with a fast early split and gave a sight, finishing a 1.3 lengths second (22.72) over 400m at Geelong. Consistent performer from this draw with a win and two minor placings to his credit. Will give a great sight again. MAN OF COURAGE (8) had a tricky draw and ran well to finish third, beaten 1.75 lengths, (22.85) at Geelong. Although beaten ran one of the quickest times on the card last start. Expected to feature. DR. FALKOR (2) has strong credentials from this draw.
