COMBO COL (3) showed little early speed at his last couple, the latest finishing fifth (30.72) in a Grade 5 at The Meadows. Form at the trip sound including three wins. Safe beginner who has drawn to advantage. Looks the one to beat on his best form. WEBLEC WHISTLER (2) has been out of the placings at his last couple but on the winners' heels when placing three back (30.64) in a Grade 5 at this track. Safe beginner and drawn well close to the inside. This looks easier and expected to improve sharply. BACALAR (1) was safely held last time out, finishing seventh at Ipswich over 520m behind Zipping Slash (31.97) in a Grade 5. Reliable out of the boxes and should take advantage of the inside draw. Can do much better this time. AKELA KUNG FU (7) has ability and can find the frame.
