JAN VAN GOYEN (2) won on debut here as the favourite two runs back, then last time out finished second to the second selection last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights today which is enough for the tables to be turned. He steps up to 1400m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer can return to winning form. SHADOWFAX (4) ran on strongly when winning his last start over 1160m. He is a progressive type and will love the rise to 1400m. He should be involved in the fight to the finish. NYAKA NYAKA (3) finished third behind the top selection last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result. He is having his third run this prep and has won in that state previously. BLIZZARD QUEST (1) has shown good improvement in each of his outings and won his maiden over 1600m at last time.
