Eric Cancel who has three wins when partnering stays on. Among the leading chances. ASBURY PARK (2) broke through for his maiden win over 1710m at this track (Turf) last time, scoring comfortably. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Jumps from a nice gate and he is worth including. FOND FAREWELL (7) drifted back then closed strongly to score as favourite on debut over 1106m at Churchill Downs (Turf) five weeks ago. Will come on following that run and looks a definite threat. KING OF ASHES (12) broke his maiden four starts back and has not been far away since, most recently when beaten 0.3 lengths into second over 1811m in stakes class at Churchill Downs (Turf).
