A proven course-and-distance specialist, he's the one they'll need to get past if he brings his best. SUPER VALENTINE (4) was dominant over this track and trip last time. Draws more favourably here and only needs to maintain that level to go very close again. SANDPIPER (10) can mix her form but her peak ratings are right up to this. If the tempo is genuine, she'll be the one slicing through late. TOORAK BLAZE (9) improved sharply here last start when ridden more positively. He shoulders a strong record over this course and distance and the booking of Crowther is a key push. Not to be underestimated.
