LA COKENA (5) missed the placings on debut two runs back then was never in contention last start when 6 lengths away in seventh over 274m at Eastern Oregon Livestock Show. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. THIRTY SIX EXPRESS (7) is resuming from a spell of two-and-a-half years and having her first run for the Adolfo Ortiz yard. Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at Los Alamitos Qh (Dirt) over 274m. One of the genuine hopes in the race. REINA ISAMAR (8) is back at the races for the first time since June 3 2023. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 201m at Los Alamitos Qh. Lines up today for the first time for trainer Jose Alfredo Aguila. Among the better hopes.
