BALTASAR (7) is progressing well this preparation. Opened with a eighth at Keeneland (Dirt) two starts back then landed the prize by 5 lengths as public elect last time out after being prominent at the bend over 1207m at Delaware Park (Dirt). Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. RUNNING RIVER (10) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 20 lengths when fifth in a 1710m contest at Pimlico five-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he will be hard to beat. SOUPER FLY OVER (1) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by 0.8 lengths over 1408m at this track (Dirt) as favourite. That continued the good form this campaign, with four wins and three minor placings from 10 outings. Solid top-three chance. DARK TIMBER (3) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 8 lengths away in seventh over 1207m at Delaware Park. Better than recent efforts suggest.
