RISING CREEK (1) looks close to a win after finishing in the money at both runs, the latest when second at Fairmount Park (Dirt) over 1207m. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Sure to be in the finish. BIRKIN ELEGANCE (6) was in contention on the corner and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1006m at Belterra Park Turf after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Taking on a better line-up this time but she deserves plenty of thought. HOPE RESTORED (3) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a spell on September 14, finishing seventh and beaten 22 lengths over 1710m at Churchill Downs (Dirt). One to consider. SAINT LAURENT (4) settled well back when 34 lengths from the winner in tenth over 1710m at Horseshoe Indianapolis Turf last start, a less impressive effort than her sixth on debut at Ellis Park Turf the run before. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders.
