VINNIE VAN GO (6) is a eight-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Julie Robillard yard. Hasn't raced since finishing fifth at Mountaineer Park (Dirt) seven months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but is in a nice race. Definite winning chance. CORE (1) was in contention on the bend and finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 1006m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Worth noting P Mailhot goes aboard.
