Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. TORPEDO AWAY (5) improved sharply on his fourth two starts back at this track (Dirt) with a win over 1308m at this track (Dirt) three weeks ago, getting home by half a length after being in the firing line on the turn. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. RIMROCK LAKE (4) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 14 lengths when seventh in a 1207m contest at this track four weeks ago. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. BLAZE OF DREAMS (9) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1308m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has his share of ability.
