LET IT BE SAID (8) has shown good improvement in his last two starts. He may have cost himself winning last time as he overraced in the early stages. He is a progressive type and if Grant van Niekerk is able to switch him off early, he should go one better. CLIFF SWALLOW (9) was a tad disappointing over 1400m last time. He will enjoy the drop to 1250m and with a bit of luck from his awkward draw, he should throw out a challenge to the top pick. GARRIX (7) is an unraced son of Vercingetorix from the Piet Steyn stable with Richard Fourie booked to ride. He is well-related and can start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide here. MAJOR MASTER (12) is a son of Master Of My Fate from the Candice Bass-Robinson yard with Aldo Domeyer booked to ride. If not in need of this outing, he should give a good account of himself.
