Del Mar Race 9 - Fanduel Breeders' Cup Juvenile Presented By Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance Stakes
The main attraction on Day 1 is the Breeders Cup Juvenile and TED NOFFEY (8) is the one to beat following a dominant win in the Breeders' Futurity last time out. He ran away to win impressively there around two turns and he has the speed to roll across from out wide. Can raise the bar again now and remain unbeaten. BRANT (7) was an expensive purchase who stopped the clock in good time on debut. He backed that up with a strong G1 victory in the Del Mar Futurity here over 1408m. Up in trip now, but he oozes class and he looks the main danger. INTREPIDO (1) looks to get a lovely run behind the leaders after winning the American Pharoah last start. Can be there to strike if the main players are off their game. BLACKOUT TIME (2) wasn't far behind TED NOFFEY last time out and should get his chance again from a suitable stall. COMPORT (4) wasn't beaten far last start and is in the mix.
