Best form puts him right in this. PROTON (4) raced on the pace over 1710m in stakes class at Laurel (Turf) last time and went on to win by one length. Will be in this for a long way. DR AGNE (8) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1710m at Keeneland, beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth. No surprise to see him in the mix.
