NASSAU COUNTY (5) is a long-time maiden and probably should have won a race by now. He gets another chance to break through after his most recent runs have been out of his class. The drop back in trip from a mile should help and he is worth another chance. FIERCE LEGEND (2) is an improving maiden gelding who should be even stronger after a recent spell. He has been away from the track for over 10 months but travelling trainer Neil Dyer will have him ready to fire fresh up. Each-way value. GO BARNEY GO (3) finished third over a mile here a fortnight ago and only weakened late inside the distance that day. He is better off over this shorter trip and should be thereabouts again. NICODEMUS (6) had 3 starts at Alice Springs earlier in the year with the best result being a fourth at his final run there.
