WILLINGHAM (7) led and gave a kick but found one better close to home last start over 1200m at the Beaumont track. This doesn't look any harder so third-up on an eight-day turnaround he looks poised to break through. RHETORIC (2) was well in commission on debut over 1200m here on New Year's Day but couldn't quite finish the race off, although not beaten far. Visors go on for this assignment. Can improve enough to fully test this modest line-up. EYNESBURY (4) has not appeared since tiring badly on debut at Kembla last April. Has been gelded since that failure and did trial well at Rosehill recently. Expecting a lot more this prep. The speedy PICCADERRO (5) returns from a six-month spell. Good fresh performer who is trialling well and handles soft ground so he ticks a few boxes. SAINT ALDWYN (6) resumes. Hasn't set the world on fire in his two runs to date but is now a gelding so more is expected from this Waller-trained three-year-old.
