CAL MILES N SHELL (1) drew a wide gate last start and was never a genuine threat, beaten 24 metres into ninth at Meadowlands over 1609m. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. Meets a similar line up and he is capable of a much better performance. ROGER RABBIT (4) has drawn wide in recent runs. Failed to feature last time out when sixth over 1609m at Monticello Raceway. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to turn things around. VALI HANOVER (6) ended last prep with a seventh at this track over 1609m nine months ago. Can open this campaign with a more positive effort. HALOA (5) disappointed last time when ninth over 1609m at Meadowlands. Can do a lot better so worth considering.
