Had been racing well with a string of wins and placings in Queensland prior. Gets a soft run on the inside of the second line and if gaps come he can make amends. ULTIMATE EMPIRE (1) returns to a circuit where he owns a good record and should get every chance from the inside draw. Big chance. TIGERMAC (8) is really delivering now with two wins and a nose second in his last three starts here. Overcame a draw on this row when he scored by 7.7 metres last time. Go well. TINNY MAHONEY (4) will be near peak fitness fourth up and could be ready to win after back-to-back placings here.
