DIAMONDSNBLUE (1) showed plenty of fight to score last time out over 1609m at this track, getting home by just 1.5 metres. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. This is a nice drop in class so she is a major player again. WILL HE PIKE (2) was in the money two runs ago then went well again last time over 2090m here, finishing 3.5 metres from the winner in second. Has the benefit of a good draw and rates a primary contender based on those recent efforts. MODERN JIVE (5) is better than his last-start 12th over 1609m at this course. Capable of a better showing. ROCKS ROY (3) is the best of the rest after finishing sixth over 2200m at Launceston last time out.
