No excuses from this advantageous draw and her recent efforts are good enough to put her right in the finish. TAKING A PUNT (2) finished ninth here two runs ago before a comparable effort at his latest appearance over 1680m at Launceston, beaten 18 metres. Has the benefit of a good draw. Meets a similar quality field and is good enough to win a race of this calibre. MACH ANGELO (6) must be considered after he finished runner-up over 2090m at this circuit a week ago. YELLA (4) disappointed last time when sixth over 1720m at Melton. Can do a lot better so worth considering in this easier contest.
