YAMANU BALE (6) was well fancied but drifted back before winding up with a late dash home to place, 2.5 lengths from the winner (28.43) at Bendigo in Grade 4/5. Ran one of the fastest times on the program last start despite finishing in the minors. Expected to be in this for a long way. DISHEVELED (2) has been beaten for early speed lately, last time finishing seventh (30.13) in a Grade 5 at Sandown. Solid formlines coming through his last run. Has the ability to give this a shake.
