FIREBALL NIGHT (2) flew the lids off the inside draw with a fast early split last time and went on to clock 22.30 when a 3 length winner over 388m at Gosford. Winner at his latest appearance in one of the quickest times on the card. Makes plenty of appeal if runs up to latest. KEYLIN (8) took advantage of the inside draw and gave a big sight in front when second and beaten 0.8 lengths (17.48) at Taree Super Track in a Mix 1/2/3 over 300m. Overdue and is among the main hopes. YOUNG ENERGY (5) stalked the lead from a middle draw and boxed on well to finish 4.5 lengths back in third (22.39) at Gosford in a Grade 3/4 over 388m. Has a solid record from this box including two wins and a minor placing. Must be included in calculations. GOLDEN GORT (3) deserves plenty of thought over this journey.
