SHADOWS OF BLUE (6) put in a much better performance last start when in the placings at The Meadows behind Spicy La Vida (34.77) in a Grade 5. Turned chasing the leaders but kept coming. Although beaten ran one of the quickest times on the card last start. Key chance in this line up. PAW ERINA (4) was safely held last time out, finishing sixth at Bendigo over 660m behind Stomping (38.97) in a Grade 4/5. Placed at her previous run. Goes well out of this box with a win and six minor placings. Has ability and can atone. PAW GRADY (3) has missed the placings at his last couple but was in the money three back when third (29.85) at this track in a Grade 5. Well placed here and should do much better. CANYA JUMP (1) is another with top-three prospects.
